Rajasthan-based PEPL manufactures micro controller based alarm annunciator, model MBA-16/32, which is highly reliable and accepts potential-free optically isolated NO/NC contact (site selectable) as fault input. The display colours of windows are red/green/amber (factory assembled), with in-built "watch dog timer" circuitry. Its gives optically isolated relay output for external audible hooters and site selectable alarm sequence as per ANSI/ISA S 18.1-1979 (R 1985) standard auto reset, manual reset, first up and ring back. The window is translucent 48 mm x 48 mm size and it is expandable up to any number of windows in a single integrated unit with flasher synchronisation circuitry. The flash rate of annunciator is 55-65 flash/min in normal flashing and 25-35 flash/min in slow flashing. The legends are silk screened/engraved on mosaic tiles. It operates on 90-264 V AC (SMPS) supply and cutout size is 204 mm (W) x 228 mm (H) for 16 channel and 396 mm (W) x 228 mm (H) for 32 channel and is housed in extruded anodised aluminium, German make frame.
