Climbing Robot For Bridge Assessment
Robotersysteme Yberle GmbH introduces its climbing robot RoSy II with a complete new driving concept. Where the first version found its way to the top in jerks, a set of powerful servo motors now moves the new model up the wall smoothly. This means that the load on the manipulator arm reaches its destination safely at the heights of bridges and other structures. With different measuring devices mounted, the robot can examine large areas of buildings as to their surface quality and monitor even the material below the surface by means of radar and other sensors.
